Before reading this book, I had heard many good things about it and I know Sarah Morgan is a strong writer for both the Presents and Medical Romance lines. As a result, I went in expecting an alpha hero, a heroine with backbone and hopefully a fun story. This book delivered on all counts. Damon is alpha but not overly so, and while Polly is cast as free-spirited, she's not ridiculous. The title is ridiculous but not as bad as some Presents titles, and there were some copyediting issues in the book as Damon calls his sister by at least two different names, and Polly's shoes switch from flats to stilettos in the middle of one scene, but these were minor and I still enjoyed the book quite a bit.
